The Old School Radio Hour pays its respects to the recently departed Mr. Magic,a hip hop legend responsible for bringing hip hop music to the commercial airwaves. Featured on this episode are classic clips from his shows,"Mr. Magic's Super Disco Showcase" and "Mr. Magic's Rap Attack" from WHBI-FM and WBLS-FM,both New York City stations and some of the classics that he broke on his shows and some personal memories by callers Stevie D of The Force MD's and Eric B. This was originally aired on Volta Radio on October 3, 2009. |
